A man must do battle with Mother Nature to save his hometown in this made-for-cable disaster film . Pete Jensen (Joe Lando) is an Oklahoma storm chaser who lives to follow tornadoes, until a twister crosses paths with his home, killing his mother and terrifying his young daughter. Shaken to his core, Jensen leaves his daughter with his wife and moves east, starting a new career as a police detective. Years later, Jensen has come home for his daughter's high-school graduation and pays a visit to Bob Booker (Peter Graham-Gaudreau), one of his old storm-chasing pals. To Jensen's surprise, he and Booker discover a cataclysmic storm is heading their way; adding to the danger, it seems the storm could easily level a secret laboratory which holds samples of deadly diseases and viral toxins. Fans of the old Baywatch TV series take heart. Despite all evidence to the contrary, legendary lifeguard Mitch Buchannon (David Hasselhoff) was not killed in that explosion during the series' final season. Virtually all of the old Baywatch regulars gather together for the lavish wedding of Mitch and Shannon in Hawaii, little suspecting that Allison is actually in league with an old enemy of Mitch's who has set his cold, black heart on a horrible revenge. Is there anyone in the wedding party who will step up and rescue Mitch from certain doom? Perhaps his ex-wife Neely Capshaw (Gena Lee Nolin), or the still beautiful, incredibly pneumatic Casey Jean Parker (who else but Pamela Anderson)? An underachieving, New Jersey-based rock band set out for their last tour with the understanding that if success doesn't come this time out, it's time to step out of the spotlight and back into the daily grind. The year is 1994, and as summer draws near the Handy Kaufmans begin the preparations for what could very well be their final tour. These days it seems like lead singer Donnie (J.T. Pitoc) and incompetent manager Big Frank (Jay Leggett) can't go five minutes without stirring up some kind of trouble, and when drunken bassist Jim (Bret Domrose) is knocked out of commission following a booze soaked pissing contest, unpredictable beauty Trixie (Lara Boyd Rhodes) is brought in as a last-minute replacement. Of course drummer Lee (Christian Campbell) has no problem with all of this, but lately his overbearing parents (Mark Hamill and Sally Kirkland) have been putting on the pressure for him to get a real job. In this thriller, an airliner on a routine flight over the Pacific Ocean is hijacked by a gang of terrorists, who deliberately crash the plane into the water. As it turns out, the flight was not as routine as everyone imagined -- one of the passengers is carrying computer hardware that controls a key defense satellite, which can be used to launch America's nuclear arsenal. The terrorists are determined to steal the equipment and use it for their own sinister purposes, but a team of Navy SEALs is given the dangerous assignment of rescuing the airliner and its precious cargo before it's too late. Robert Jan Westdijk directed this Dutch drama about two Amsterdam roommates, Hugo (Hugo Metsers) and Goof (Roeland Fernhout), who charm, seduce, and rob female tourists, saving passport ID pages as souvenirs. While Hugo is liberating American tourist Kristy (Nicole Eggert) of her traveling funds, Goof goofs by inviting a beautiful Siberian babe, Lara (Vlatka Simac), up to their apartment -- a bad move as Lara uses her inside knowledge of the duo to manipulate them and sabotage their scam set-up. With Dutch and English dialogue, the film blends color, black-and-white, and video; there is also Techno music by the Dutch band Junkie XL. But bluntly, Nick is a serial bigamist, with one wife named Jobeth (Shelley Hack) in Dallas and another named Alison (Joan Severance) in Chicago--and a young fiancée named Miriam (Nicole Eggert) in Hawaii. Though he has managed to keep the various women in his life from finding out about one another via a sophisticated system of high-tech subterfuge, Nick's chickens start coming home to roost when Jobeth begins wondering about a bill for a $9000 anniversary present which she has never received. Though based on a true story, the film ends on a note of comic irony that would not be out of place in a Billy Wilder picture! Amanda meets "Flores" in a coffeehouse and realizes that the runaway alien lurks within; sympathetic to the space creature's plight, she offers to help it escape, and even gives it a new body to travel in -- Charlie's, which suddenly makes him a lot easier to get along with, and even a bit sexier.
