Fast food lovers run for cover, because Horny the Clown is out on the town and he's ready to deliver death more swiftly than any case of bad cholesterol. Blanca Carne was a quiet town until before Hella-Burger opened for business. A fast food joint fronted by a creepy mascot named Horny the Clown, Hella-Burger was a huge hit until the customers started dying in droves. As Horny trades his patty-flipping spatula for a meat cleaver, an axe, and skin sizzling deep fryer that has plenty of room for all of his victims, it's up to high school student Mackenzie Carpenter (Leighton Meester) to discover the driving force behind Horny's murderous impulses before the whole town is turned to ground chuck. Super Size Me director Morgan Spurlock co-stars in a gruesome horror comedy from filmmakers Brendan Cowles and Shane Kuhn. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
This social satire pokes fun at the white supremacist groups that inhabit the rural Midwest. The story centers on Dale, an aging hippie first seen sucking on a bong during a party in Colorado. He must return to his native Nebraska after he learns that the local thugs have injured his grandfather. Upon his arrival, Dale discovers the townsfolk have become the serfs of the despot Duke Davidson, a super right-wing reactionary who has taken over the town. It is Davidson's ultimate goal to overtake the entire US government, and for a start he has placed computer chips in the heads of all the locals so that he can effectively brainwash them into eradicating anyone who isn't white, Christian, or ultra-conservative. Now it is up to Dale, and CIA agent Debra, who has zero respect for Dale at first, to save the town and vanquish the tyrant. ~ Sandra Brennan, Rovi
In this sequel to My Girl, Vada Sultenfuss (Anna Chlumsky) is now thirteen and at the crossroads of adolescence, beginning to question her past. Her father Harry (Dan Aykroyd) is now married to Shelly (Jamie Lee Curtis) and preoccupied with an expectant child. Vada feels left out and decides to write about her mother -- whom she knows nothing about -- for a school project. Vada wants to travel to Los Angeles during spring break to find out more about her mother by interviewing old friends and acquaintances. Harry is reluctant to let her go but finally agrees when he arranges for her to stay with her Uncle Phil (Richard Masur), who lives in L.A. with his girlfriend Rose (Christine Ebersole) and Rose's son Nick (Austin O'Brien), who happens to be the same age as Vada. Together Vada and Nick travel all over Los Angeles, uncovering revelations about Vada's mother and her past. ~ Paul Brenner, Rovi
