In this Turkish lesbian melodrama, a doctor is sent to work in a small town and encounters an old friend down on her luck. Nilgun is the divorced medic who must work in the village treating the local prostitutes. There she finds her old best friend Havva who is very sick. Nilgun takes her home and they become lovers. Later they move to Istanbul. They encounter pressure that threatens to destroy their relationship.
