Lorin Vail Movies

For fans of bodybuilding, this movie is a must-see, as it features the carefully-wrought torsos of Harry Grant and Tom Platz. Grant was Mr. Los Angeles and Mr. Southern California, Platz was a Mr. Universe title-holder. In the story, Grant plays Vince, a somewhat dim personal trainer at a hotel gym in San Diego. He wants to open his own gym, and woos the daughter (Wendy Fraser) of a wealthy businessman in order to gain access to him and persuade him to front the money. Unfortunately, the businessman sees him for the golddigger he is, and arranges for him to be caught by his daughter in the arms of another money. Not only is he caught by the businessman's daughter, but his former girlfriend, Kim (Lorin Jean Vail), is somehow one of the group that walks in on him. In a parallel storyline, Kim has become involved with Tom Steele Platz as he trains to win a bodybuilding title. ~ Clarke Fountain, Rovi
