This low-budget, off-the-wall comedy by Hans Noever relies on improvisation for some of its 80-minute running time, and on a screwball group of characters. A film crew is housed in a Berlin mansion to work on a project, and during their stay the owner of the villa dies while sitting on the bathroom facilities listening to classical music on the radio. His body soon becomes the center piece of the living room (no pun intended) where the cast, crew, and family members gather around for a very strange homage and for conversation. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, Rovi

In this entertaining light comedy, Hildi (Karina Fallenstein) is a good-hearted but also exploitative 18-year-old, with her punk hairstyle looking like it came out of a Kansas tornado on the losing side. She lives with two very casual friends in a small apartment and cribs money off anyone willing to still help her out. Her heart belongs to a punk rocker whom she fervently hopes will top the charts one day, even though their affair has ended. Unfortunately for Hildi's lifestyle, their affair may have left her with more than warm memories -- though she is certain to be undaunted and ultimately responsible, come what may.

In this political comedy, a right-wing political party is looking for a suitable spokesman to make their ravingly eccentric positions acceptable to the general public. They find an out of work actor (Harald Juhnke) to serve as their "parrot," and at first it looks as though they have chosen well, as their popularity is now on the rise. However, they hadn't counted on the poor man having something they themselves apparently lack: a conscience. This made-for-television movie was so well received during its scheduled airing that it was later released as a movie. ~ Clarke Fountain, Rovi
