Alex (Jana Cilliers) is a sexually confused female journalist in this low-budget social drama. She is not quite sure if she loves the revolutionary activist Michael (Wayne Bowman) for himself or his dedication to the cause. She loves Dorothy (Sandra Prinsloo) but fears if she follows her heart in a lesbian relationship she will end up a fawning caricature like Dorothy's lover Mabel (Joanna Weinberg).
