Given the state of film making technology in 1925, this is an impressive bit of work. Beautiful shots of the Zogros Mountains as 50,000 people march single file barefoot in the snow. A great soundtrack was added featuring: Golam hosain janati-Ataie Santur, Daf Kavous Shirzadian Tom, Dombas, Ub Amil Ali Vahabzadegan Turkish Tambur, Setar, Dohol, Daf, vocals Favorite quote:"If goats can swim, they won't"

Fascinating silent films with great added music. Warning- children may be upset by the treatment of animals...

It's hard to belive that a movie, made in 1924, could keep my intrest the way this movie did. A piece of history that should never be forgotten. The journey of these people and animals, repeated evey year, makes me happy to be born an American.
