Filles de la Nuit (1958)
This is a standard drama by Maurice Cloche about an uneven struggle against the excesses of pimps and gangsters. Father Herman (Claus Holm) runs a shelter for hookers, and while he takes care of them, he tries to get them away from the pimps and other men who pose a continual threat to their lives.
