UFC 2: No Way Out (1994)

UFC 2: No Way Out (1994)
Member Rating:
Fred Ettisch, Royce Gracie, and Pat Smith go to town in this follow-up and follow-on of the first Ultimate Fighting Championship, with double the action -- 16 warriors this round as opposed to eight for the first UFC release. More than a video game and lots scarier than WWF, these no-holds-barred fights between black-belt champions and just plain tough guys are close up and well edited to keep the viewer's attention. There are few rules in this arena short of no eye gouging but anything else, from kneed groins to the right to clonk your opponent unconscious, is allowed and cheered by fans who have come to see the show. ~ Leslie Birdwell, Rovi

Nothing beats the original UFC before there were rules! As with UFC 1 this one shows Royce Gracie's dominance in UFC and why he's in the UFC Hall of Fame.

I have watched every UFC but the early ones have to be the best. There were no weight divisions and fighters have fight through 3 brackets to be crowned champion, unlike now, where they just have to fight one opponent. The early days are far more entertaining, you see 200lbs guys fighting 400lbs guys.
