For a low budget horror film, it does a pretty decent job. Lon Chaney is a big asset to the film, okay score and it does have a few chilling scenes.

Lon Chaney Jr is an exceptional actor but too little was used of him in this old horror movie. Conceived as a hidden classic by some, I found the movie dull. The story jumped all over the place without making the plot the least bit interesting. Lon Chaney fans need to check this out but otherwise skip it.
