I loved this movie, it was heartwarming and a tear jerker as well. It's the American dream for one to own a home of our own, and this movie shows the hurdles that a family will go through in order to make that dream come true. In addition, this movie leaves you with an appreciation for what you have, and reminds you that what is most important after all is those people who make you the happiest. If you've gone through hurdles yourself in owing property in the States, I am sure you'll relate to this movie. Enjoy it

Our world has gotten so cynical in the last decade or so, it's easy to forget that most people are hardworking and honest, and can be incredibly kind to each other. This is an inspiring true story of a poor single mom and her six children who manage to build a home for themselves in Hankston, Idaho despite all odds. I don't want to spoil the plot, but it's safe to say that there is a great deal of struggle and also a stunning generosity from their neighbors. I give this film four stars because it's made well, and an extra half-star because it came to me at a time when I needed it most.

I love this movie. Very good story how a single mom finds a way to build her 6 kids a home with nothing. Proves "where there's a will there's a Way". Kathy Bates and Edward Furlong both did terrrific in this movie.
