    I've toured the Delta extensively but have not felt comfortable going go the old juke joints by myself. This movie made me open my mind to more possibilities.

    History of the blues style and areas where it was developed very interesting. Local performing artist clubs where the music is now played was well done.

    Great documentary. I haven't been able to take a tour down south to see some real blues, and some of these masters aren't with us anymore, so I loved being able to get a good sample of some real blues. Only problem was that all of the parts with RL burnside were messed up by the producer who wanted to jam with him. Seeing RL in his element before he became famous still makes this a classic though. If you are an RL fan, be sure to watch the deleted scenes. NOTE - Everytime he says 'WELL!' What he's doin is asking for another round of the 'well' wiskey at the bar. In this case he may also be trying to drop a hint that he's ready to stop the jam ?
