H.B. Warner plays both a wrathful Russian Grand Duke and the Duke's son, Feodor. The Duke wants Feodor to marry a woman he doesn't love. Feodor instead runs off with an American girl, Evelyn Burnham (Edith Hallar). The Duke captures the couple, sends the wife to the Russian border and throws his son in jail for a year. Evelyn returns to the States, where she has a daughter who she gives up to an orphanage. Many years later, Feodor comes to America to buy munitions for the Russian government. One young plant owner, Eve Leslie (Shirley Mason), won't sell them to him. Evelyn, who is now in a convent, sees a photo of Feodor and tracks him down. The two of them go in search of their daughter and discover that it is Eve. They all return to Russia together.
