Thunder Birds is classic World War II propaganda film. It is the simple story of a veteran pilot, Preston Foster, who trains young American, Chinese and British men to fly at the Thunderbird field in Arizona in 1942. One of his students is a British doctor, John Sutton, who suffers from motion sickness. They both fall in love with a rancher's granddaughter, Gene Tierney, who lives down the road. This movie is in Technicolor and many of scenes look great. There are many patriotic speeches and features one of the great scenes in movie history. Beautiful Gene Tierney, on a cook out, takes 4 hotdogs and puts them on a hamburger bun and eats the whole thing. It doesn't get any better than that!
