Very good "film policier". I saw it many times before the age of 12 and then lost sight of it for 20 years. Much of what made this unforgettable for me is still here: 1) the unforgettable score by Ennio Morricone. including "Chi mai" and "Le vent, le cri" two very beautiful instrumental pieces. In retrospect though, it almost feels as if the score is from a different movie as it only works in some scenes. 2)The showdown with Rosen, etc. 3)Good french like tongue in cheek humor. There is nothing you have never seen in terms of special effects or car chases, expect that Jean Paul Belmondo usually does all his stunt work. If you like cop and robbers movies via Paris., it is worth a watch. Or at least, listen to the score and you will finally realize you know that instrumental peice but never knew where it came from.

Great movie. Showed all the tricks and machinations played by government departments. Good action too.

I can't believe I watched this entire movie and didn't understand a word that was said!!! It was in French with no translation---wish I had known. If you like to guess what is going on, this is the one for you. Jack A.
