I thought this film was going to be a lot of sentimental fluff, but I was pleasantly surprised when it turned out to be something much deeper. The story revolves around a woman and the man she married and the man she loves. It's more surprising for a film from the 40's to be questioning the institution of marriage and the concept of marrying for love or self-worth. Very interesting! Definitely worth watching!
