All these years I've heard nothing but how much this movie stinks. Well, it does, but it is BY NO MEANS Sinatra's worst. Sure he's like 40 years old and trying to come off like he's 20, but that was standard operating procedure for 1948. The songs are iffy, but the comedy isn't that bad. It has a ton going for it - especially seeing Khan getting his groove on (Ricardo Montalban himself dances with Ann Miller and Cyd Charisse). Give this flick a chance, especially if you want to see the dawn of Frank's hairpiece era.

I couldn't even finish this movie even though I love Kathryn Grayson, Ann Miller and Cyd Charisse. The old California sets were wonderful, but the "Kissing Bandit" routine was quite tiresome. Aloha, Pam
