In this comedy, a middle-class stenographer marries her wealthy boss. Her family is intimidated by his status and when the happy couple comes to call, they spend much of their time lecturing him about class equality. The wealthy husband is particularly moved by a speech from his bride's cousin and decides to move in with the middle-class family to prove that he is not enslaved by notions of social class.
