Four stars because it's a great TV series. Sadly we missed the second season since BB did not have it available FOREVER and still doesn't and after waiting FOREVER we just went ahead with season 3. Never having time to watch it as a series on TV this will have to do and DO IT DOES. Everyone is great in this. I don't want to talk about specific plot or characters because that would ruin the fun for you. The writing is amazing. The dialog is great without being corny and the acting from everyone is top-notch. Dry, droll, clever and yes, violent. It's a modern sheriff western...no surprises there! I agree with Charles E. One should start with season one and go from there.

If you've never seen Justified I'd like to suggest you rent season 01 so you can understand what's happening. It's kind of a continuous series and can be a little confusing if you're just starting to watch it. Once you've seen the first season, all the parts will fit. It will be worth your time, a most excellent show.
