This is a really good movie. I just saw it today, and I was just like the other two reviewers who open their big mouths and give a review, without the courtesy of even watching the movie. I was prepared to hate it, and couldn't see why they would want to mess with a classic. I was wrong. This is set and plays just like the original. Even the narrator sounds exactly like Jean Shepherd. There are many references to events in the original movie that are well done and some surprises as well. This is not a campy movie at all, and I think that once we get over the shock of someone making another Christmas Story movie, that you give it a chance. I am very glad I did.

This is one of the worst movies ever made. If you love the first Christmas Story you will not enjoy the sequel.
