This was a movie whose quality is the life of the family represented. I enjoyed it as did my children. Some laughs and tears along with inspiration for family relationships and parenting encouragement made it a worthy film to view.
Looks amarteurish until you realize that it's meaning and message is what is the issue here, not the acting quality. Has a message of how you act to your wife and loved ones and how you shape your children is what they will know in their lives and how it can improve the world if others raised their children the way the father and mother did in this story. They devoted their lives to their children.Their patience is amazing. It teaches by example to have patience, love and time for your family regardless how tired you are as a father or mother. It is your job and it is important, although it is not easy. the dad had an amazing happy temperment. A christian type movie with a great message at the end of having your health checked, apparently because of the fathers early death. You learn later it is a true story. That was one close, loving and inspiring family. I'm glad I watched it.- Lou C
Amateur Acting, but GREAT story line. A wonderful inspiration to family and such a good message and lessons to spouses and singles contemplating marriage. Once I watched the credits at the end and realized that this was based on a true man's story, the amateur acting absolutely didn't matter. VERY Emotional movie.
