Completely worth it - I pride myself on being an advocate for the bullied breeds and what is nice about this documentary it isn't "pit bulls are perfect" but is goes into details on how BSL doesn't work, the problems with labeling breeds and gives plenty of information. I walked away learning a bit more so I encourage ANY dog owner to see this movie to be educated on BSL.

I'm editing my original review, because I originally stated this would be too upsetting to watch and that I wouldn't, and I went on a rant about ignorant comments on here... Well, I ended up renting it. It's very educational and addressed some obvious issues, and some that I never knew existed. It is incredibly sad at times, but it is also nice to see people with such passion for the breed. It also mentions other breeds of dog that have a bad rep, not just strictly pit bulls. I recommend it for any animal lover, but it definitely tugs at the heartstrings, and if you have a real love for dogs... you may want to keep a box of tissues close.

I will probably not view this because it would be too upsetting; however I can say that my brother had a pit bull mix for many years and the characteristics she exhibited were affection, loyalty and some comedic attributes. She was born and raised in Alaska and was committed to keeping moose out of her yard by barking and chasing them out. Oh, yes, she was also quite fearless, but very sweet.
