Movie was excellent. Very funny. However, it is not anything like the description. Watch it anyway.

Ignore the synopsis and the description which is for a different film as Susan R. pointed out in an earlier review. However, this film is definitely entertaining and suspenseful, although it's not really that funny from a joke standpoint aside from the doting mother Kay Medford was so adept at playing and a wonderful supporting performance from Dom Deluise. Sid Ceasar, Robert Ryan, and Anne Baxter are all very believable in their roles. Robert Ryan isn't a comedian and his part is straight but you can't take your eyes off him in every scene he's in--he has that kind of presence. It's not really a film that's full of jokes and the plot is hard to follow without seeing it several times but it's still an enjoyable movie.
