This very short series works at a disadvantage. With only a few episodes on 2 disks, it tries to do too much. Every character is overloaded with significance, and there's little time to flesh them out. As a result, you don't get connected to anyone. And our old friend Rose, the housekeeper who returns to 165 Eaton Place after several decades, is downright nasty at times. A story that comes in at a distant second to the stellar "Downton Abbey."
