Although a fan of July's previous film, this is an over-indulgent waste of time, the use of the kitten as a metaphor, is either a cruel marketing trick, or even worse, a failure in the the filmmaker's storytelling, I saw this in a theater and I want my $9.00 back, don't be fooled, this film has NOTHING to do with a kitten.

Terrible depressing dismal film-Billed as "quirky" comedy-Absolutely nothing funny -Pathetic characters who are tedious to watch-Only character worth caring about is Paw Paw the cat-who is put to sleep-someone needs to put Miranda July to sleep-There is no "deep meaning" in this sad attempt at "art"

There are so many things wrong with the whole premise of this movie I don't now where to begin, but let me try. For example, how do you "plan" to adopt a stray kitten in a month. Are they assuming there will just be a stray cat hanging out next month, or do they have one already picked out and they are just going to let it continue to be stray until they are ready, hoping it will still even be alive in a month? Who are these people and who lives like this? A great nonsensical metaphor to base an even more nonsensical movie upon. However, I'm sure it is the rave in certain circles...
