Wow! What a stinker! When Romero is good he is really good and when he is bad he is really bad. Such is the case with this very short three story anthology. I liked Romero as the host doing the intros to each of the three stories. I liked his touch of humor to each of the introductions and it was good to see Tom Savini directing again too as well as Nick Mancusco in a lead part. However, each of the stories was weak and predictable it came across as though these were the reject stories to the original 'Creepshow' movie. I don't understand why someone with Romero's reputation couldn't have asked some established quality writers in the horror genre to write him three short stories for this film?...it would have been so much better and would have prevented the awful reviews that this film has been receiving. A side note: does anyone else out there think that Romero's trademark reading glasses look exactly like Carol Channing's besides me? Anyway, ... My Grade: D- Marc L. Seattle, WA
As told by a George Romero robot! Oh wait, that was really him? Sadly, the stories just go downhill from there after each intro. Go watch something else. Better yet, go outside. I don't care if it is winter and we're having a blizzard. It's a better alternative than sitting through this.
