With the actors in this movie, I had high hopes for a good war flick but it was really only mediocre when I take it as a whole. One major problem I had was the mis-casting of Mickey Rooney in his role. I'm sorry, he is a great actor but due to his stature and portrayal, I couldn't take him seriously as a tough guy leader. Great movies I like to see more than once. This one is only good for a single showing but don't put it at the top of your list!
