I think of you have read the book this will be a bitter disappointment. The dogs are nothing like the characters in the books and the plot is completely out of sync - to be missed

Poor adaptation story that plods along windingly to seemingly no end. The picture quality was equally as bad, which may have added to the discomfort of trying to endure this to the end. One part that's badly adapted is that Buck was a St. Bernard breed of a dog, not a German Shepherd, which likely would not have survived the rigors of the Klondike. Additionally, there's a romance threaded throughout for no aparent reason which had me gritting my teeth. Be warned!
