Pretty bleak drama about a young woman's struggle to avoid being dragged down by her ex-boyfriend's criminal activity and her sister's mental illness. Obviously made on a low budget, but done with some style and ambition. Not a fun, uplifting or entertaining movie, but pretty well acted and convincing. Note to fans of Adam Rodriguez that his role is actually very small.

Adam Rodriguez is a good actor, but the directing on this movie was poor.
