I wouldn't even call this Pornographic or softcore, cuz its very lame! Plot is dumb, the acting is dumb, and the movie is just plain dumb. My recommendation is to skip this, complete waste of rental.

I must confess: I have never understood this film. I am not even sure if the woman really dies in the end, a question which, if answered, seems to be what the movie is all about. The movie portrays Nature in all its autumnal beauty, yet devolves into incoherent terror. The decision to blend beautiful scenery with incoherent terror is artistically vulgar. That being said, I think the movie is trying to say something, and so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. Also, there are some Bergmanesque features to the piece; not very good Bergmanesque features, though.

This is a severely edited version of the original film.
