The holiday-themed performance release Christmas in Rome finds two choral-instrumental ensembles - The Gabrieli Concert & Players under the baton of Paul McCreesh, and The English Concert & Choir under the baton of Peter Hanson, with accompaniment by soloist Trevor Pinnock - performing a series of classical Christmas works by such composers as Antonio Vivaldi, Alessandro Scarlatti and Arcangelo Corelli.
