I rented this on the basis that its "true" film footage from police files. Plus I'm a sucker for what my husband dubs "bad horror DVD night." It starts out slow, almost like a Blair Witch or Paranormal Activity thing and I was tempted to stop watching after the first 30 minutes because of all the yelling and frenetic commotion but figured I'd already invested that much time so I might as well finish watching it. It slowly picks up as things start to happen -but still lots of aggravating yelling and commotion which is distracting. But its supposed to be real film footage. However if you can stick with it, it does finally pick up at the end. The last 15 -20 minutes are good & make it worth watching. Freaky!

One of the worst movies ever. It would have been a little believable if this was the actual house that stood at 8213 Summerdale now. I lived 1 block from there, it's not even close to the old house or the new house. Pretty pathetic.

The trailer looked pretty interesting, but almost from the beginning of the movie I was disappointed. The acting was bad and the effects were equally as bad. If you're looking for a good "paranormal" movie, this is definitely not it.
