A great revamping of Planet of the Apes. This film is centered on story rather than just resorting to action. Have no fear though, there is plenty of action but it only occurs after a long buildup to justify moments of violence that will have you cheering for the apes against humanity. The CGI apes look amazing and display a strong sense of emotion. The film delivers a wide variety of themes ranging from animal testing to civil rights in general. This was a smart, intense, and emotional film to start off what could become a new franchise.

This movie was amazing and instead of only bloodshed and extreme violence there was an actual plot that played out awesomely and kept your attention the entire time.

I loved this movie! They did one heck of a job with Caesar. The hair on my neck stood up when Caesar spoke for the first time!
