A fascinating retelling of a story not many people knew about, nor believed. During WW2 the Japanese developed several very large "super subs" which they could literally cruise around the world and attack the USA without detection. The down side was the subs were not ready until after the atomic attacks at Hiroshima. End of story, but a very good presentation.

This was World War, unrestricted TOTAL WAR, anything goes. The only thing restraining the other side was the fear that your enemy would then use it on you. But to clarify what a reviewer told you about the Japanese not stooping to Germ Warfare, well let's just say he needs to learn his history. During the Sino-Japanese War (1937-1945) and World War II (1939-1945), the Special Research Units of the Imperial Japanese Army, such as Unit 731, conducted human experimentation on thousands of Chinese, among others. In its military campaigns, the Japanese used BW on Chinese soldiers and civilians. This employment has been largely viewed as ineffective due to inefficient delivery systems. Firsthand accounts testify that the Japanese infected civilians through the distribution of plagued foodstuffs and newer estimates suggest over 580,000 victims, largely due to plague and cholera outbreaks. If these ships were finished, they would have attacked our cities biologically. TOTAL WAR
