I don't think colorization added a lot to the DVD. A lot of the footage ends up being recycled a couple of times in the set. The timeline is hard to follow. But.......ANY footage from WW1 is interesting.
I am not a fan of colorization, but in the case of these vintage films, it gave them a 3-dimensional quality. The program content spans the causes of the war as well as the actual combat. Very well done.
