Synopsis of Lucy Calls the President

A complaint call to the White House yields unexpected results when an incensed housewife from Indiana discovers the president is dropping by for dinner. Lucy Whittaker (Lucille Ball) was airing her grievances about a public housing project when she found herself on the line with the Commander in Chief. Now faced with the prospect of entertaining the biggest dinner guest she's ever hosted, flummoxed Lucy seeks the assistance of her family, her neighbors, and Social Service in making sure the big event goes smoothly.
