It was fun seeing just how much Calif. is going to get hit by earthquakes. It was also fun to see the '64 earthquake in Alaska. I was in one of the few building that made it through with not much damage. This show had movie clips that I had not see and ones I remember. It was sad to see where the worst damage was done to homes. It is now called earthquake park but last time I was there people are now building homes and tall buildings where people's homes fell into the cracks. I recomend this movie to anyone who loves earthquakes, lives in an area that has them and ones like me who wander down memory lane.

It is a logical move to study earthquakes is you can not prodict them.

I had my son watch this movie on a Saturday and Sunday night we had a mild earthquake. This documentary is relevant for every Californian. The footage of the Anchorage Earthquake is awesome. The newspaper has been running articles about attempts to predict earthquakes from tremors along the San Andreas and we now understand some of the science behind the attempts to predict The Big One.
