Yeah, it was dull, but it wasn't really the story that made me shut it off, it was the horrible art and editing. I graduated from college about a year ago with a degree in graphic design, and I seriously think that most of the students in my class could've put this together better. The beginning credits are in a font that is not only not appropriate for the subject matter but is also small, squished together and hard to read. This is the font that the subtitles for the lines in Spanish are in all throughout the movie. I think whoever put the sequence of shots together went in with the goal of using every special effect they possibly could. The camera spins around, blurs, focuses in and out, and almost every shot has a brightly colored overlay. All through the movie there are frequent (and by frequent I mean about every two minutes) flashbacks shot the same way. They're also so quick that it's hard to tell what's going on. Overall I found the style incredibly annoying.
