An egocentric rock star retreats to his hometown to recover from the humiliation of a major career misstep, and begins to reassess his priorities after reconnecting with the childhood friend who helped launch him to stardom. Spyder's (Kevin Zegers) first album was an unqualified hit. But when his follow-up bombs with fans and critics alike, he decides to go back to the place where it all began. Once there, the humiliated rocker quickly reconnects with his former best friend and songwriting partner, Eric (Jason Ritter), who now teaches music to middle school students. Later, as the two former friends begin some serious soul searching, they are given a second chance to reclaim their rightful place at the top of the charts. In order to do so, however, they must get to L.A. and lay down some hot new tracks in just two weeks.     Must See for anyone who loves Classic Rock". I have seen the movie several times now. The movie catches your attention from start to finish. The ending makes you think. Great cast and Taryn Manning's body is insane. A must see.

    I enjoyed this effort. Cool to see Josh Framm from the Air Bud series progress thru his career. Good story with good rock music, a good ending, and twas entertaining throughout. And I agree w. Michael S., Taryn Manning's body is insane!
