Synopsis of Jean-Charles

For Britons, the world changed irrevocably on July 7, 2005, the fatal day of the London terrorist bombings. As widely reported in the media, one of the individuals who became tragically and senselessly caught up in the crossfire was poor Jean Charles de Menezes, an innocent Brazilian immigrant accidentally shot dead by English police. This biopic dramatizes Menezes's heartbreaking story; it begins with the days when his cousin came from Brazil to live with him, and follows his life until the shocking end. ~ Nathan Southern, All Movie Guide
