Unfortunately, this is not real history as much as Christian missionary verbiage. It is rather disgraceful and perverted. Our Founding Fathers were highly skeptical of Christianity and have written about their distrust. George Washington wrote about his belief is Deism (Desists believed in God but do not see a God as active in human affairs). John Adams (our 2nd U.S. President) rejected belief in the divinity of Jesus. About Christianity, Adams wrote, [quote] Thus mystery is made a convenient cover for absurdity [unquote]. Thomas Jefferson (our 3rd U.S. President) made very clear many times in his writings that he did not believe in the Trinity, the virgin birth, the divinity of Jesus, the resurrection, the original sin, or any other core Christian doctrine. I could go on and on, but just know that the idea that Christianity was important in forming the USA is absurd and totally unfounded. Avoid this nutty propaganda.
This was a really fun video to watch. The host, Dave Stotts is entertaining and makes this history lesson easy to process and take in. It is fresh, hip and exciting. The camera work and production quality are very good. It is not your average History Channel program. This was a fast-paced drive thru history.
