A layered and oblique story with spiritual overtones and strong performances. It's also a bit slow and the characters may be too remote to sustain the interest of many viewers.

De Niro & Norton's acting was great but the story went all over the place. I kept waiting for something to be resolved or exciting to happen, but ended without any conclusions or excitement. Very religious undertones. The point was unclear to me throughout the whole movie.

Top of the line acting. Robert De Niro & Ed Norton go toe to toe in this one. It was just too boring & slow! Milla Jovovich tried to add to this dull movie, but fail short. With a little more suspense, detail, & action, it would've been better. "Da Hood Critic"
