I watched the movie and came to the conclusion that not much has changed for the lives of young basketball players since Hoop Dreams. After seeing Hoop Dreams in 1996, I felt as if I really knew Arthur Agee and was happy to see his success after basketball. I wish the movie had given some insight on William Gates and his life after basketball as well.
