I watched this movie for leading man, 33 year old Ian Sommerhalder. It starts out slow, then fast, then cheesey as his accent in 'Marco Polo' Disc 2, picks up,ties everything up at the end. Nice. The supporting acting is excellent, but the script asks little of Ian. So I grudgingly give it 3 stars. Ian transitioned from model to polished actor in 'CSI:Miami', LOST, and Vampire Diaries. His only earlier work worth watching is 'Lost City Raiders' -good job. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME on earlier movies; 'Rules of Attraction' TOTALLY SUCKED and diminished his appeal. 'Marco Polo' robbed him of a chance to shine when an action scene obviously replaced him w/ an Asian stunt man. Though he looks SEXY in a turban ;) ! Hoping that he makes it up to us 07/10 in "How to Make Love to a Woman".
