Great animation, story and Star Wars stuff! The extras really are worth it on the DVD. If you can, go Blue Ray. The quality is worth it. Man why did they ever make the pre-trilogy...should have just gone to these...Remember when GL said there wasn't enough material...The force is strong with these!

New and entertaining stories about the Jedi before the fall of the Republic. This is for the kids so the plot is not that deep but it does have heart and lots of action. Ashoka is a good role model for young women specifically. For adults this season pays homage to all those cheesy b-movies we watched as kids. From zombies to giant monsters to 1940s war effort propaganda reels. Technically, this is better than season 1 showing the production crew's constant evolution in filmmaking. The way they've adapted live-action cinema to a new graphics style that I can only describe as "Greek-Orthodox Wooden Figurines". The visuals are like watching a child's imagination through wood-carved toys!

What can I say, I'm a star wars freak. The stories n these cartoons are excellent. They could easily be made into feature movies. It is also filling a story line between episodes of the main movie.Recommended for kids and adults.
