Some one told me there is suppose to be a message here somewhere? I did not get it! It starts out with a teacher telling her students that they are in school there to be used for organ parts. That would be enough to freak anyone out, but they seem to sit there and comply. I would seek out the nearest exit and fast~! I guess again there is some hidden message I did not comprehend, but I would say it was one of the worst movies I have ever rented. Stupido!

This is a movie whose premise can haunt you, despite some unanswered questions plot-wise. Although the four gifted young actors are thoroughly believable, attention must be paid to Sally Hawkins's poignant performance as a conflicted teacher who dares to enlighten the children as to their reason for living. Quite a departure from her character in "Happy Go Lucky."

Disappointing; not a great story, but acting and music were good. Hoping the book it is based on is much better!
