This has to be one of the Dumbest and Stupidest (so called) horror movies that i have ever seen. The story is so laughable! the acting is unbelievably bad! the special effects really bad! the killer is a joke! (just look at the cover) and what a name Basement Jack (get real) This matthew W's. review is the total opposite of what he wrote.Whats he smokin? he raves about this movie he actually wants a sequel (you kidding me!) I don't know whats worse this movie or his review.(sorry Matthew,no offence)) i would actually recommend this movie so you can see how BAD!!! it really is. I cant believe i rented this piece of SH_T.

The average horror movie watcher may not understand the budget limitations of indie horror, but an avid gore fan will appreciate the birth & unique backstory behind a new breed of the notorious killers on the silver screen. More money & this would be a new serial killer franchise. 1) the score was created by mastermind, Alan Howarth & where this movie lacks in $$ is made up for by his emotional and terrifying score. 2) Lynn Lowry lays down a seriously psychotic performance as Basement Jack's deranged electrocutionary mother. She deserves awards. 3) not to be outshone are the performances by both Basement Jack (Eric Peter Kaiser) & Karen Cook (Michele Morrow). Morrow brings a grit to the role worthy of hall of fame anti hero praise like Sarah Conner and Laurie Strode. Kaiser gives us emo-madman all the way, never speaking a word. I live for their battles and would love a sequel.

I read all the reviews and I have to agree that the cops were stupid, the acting was bad, just a typical SCI FI, Chiller, Fearnet movie. How can somebody live in a basement go unnoticed, really???
