How Bruce Lee Changed the World (2009)
Member Rating:
Get to know the man behind the laser-fast kicks in a documentary exploring the life and legend of film star Bruce Lee, who died tragically at the age of thirty two, a mere three weeks before the release of his only U.S. film, Enter the Dragon. A native of San Francisco, Lee secured a permanent place in pop culture by introducing the martial arts to the modern world. His skills seemed almost supernatural, ad no one could have guessed that he would be gone in the blink of an eye. In this documentary, seldom seen home movies and rare interviews reveal the true personality of a martial arts icon. Additional interviews with Jackie Chan, John Woo, Stan Lee, and Brett Ratner offer added insight into Lee's remarkable legacy. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

This documentary not only highlightes Bruce Lee's career as a martial artist and an actor, as do other documentaries, but sheds light into his influence over world's pop culture. Being a Bruce Lee fan all my life, even I found new facts within this wonderful documentary presented not so much by the masters of kung fu but by artists, actors, comedians and others. Definitely a must see for those who want to know all sides of the great Bruce Lee.

an more updated and recent review and evaluation of this pop culture icon, the 'last dragon of the forgone generation'. An excellent chance to see his family member, especially shannon lee, the only offspring this great man has. A must see if you are one of his fans like so many were brought up enthralled by this enclaved onsreen and offscreen true hero like one of the Hong kong comedian star put it.

Bruce Lee made an impact on my generation, but I never dreamed that his influence could have such far reaching influence. Not so much a Bruce Lee documentary as how much he has influenced modern culture. A must see for Bruce Lee fans and for people trying to understand the lasting influence of an American icon.
