Based on Daphne du Maurier's Gothic novel, this romantic made-for-television drama centers on the beautiful young bride of the much older, recently widowed Maxim De Winter.     A good Masterpiece Theater film...a little slow at the beginning but very intriguing once the story gets moving. Enjoyable acting and some nice suspense and twists.
