"Chain Link" is for movie buffs who like hand-held camera work Cassavettes style, and character driven stories. I found myself going back to see it again... You just want to watch these characters some more! The actors are great! It seems like their making it up as they go but smoothly and flawlessly! You can't get enough, so you watch it again. Oh, there is a particularly fun scene where the facts of life are being given to a ten year old (Luciano Rauso) by his ex-con dad (Mark Irvingsen) that is hilarious! You'll never hear it explained quite like that again I'm sure! The mom (Jody Jaress) just tears your heart out. For her, you wish the ending were different, but...that's life. Rent it, buy it, but see it. Really good and no stars in it either!

Decent movie with a good story line. Acting was good. A ex-con tries to reconcile with his wife in order to keep her and their son from moving away. Goes to all lengths, and maybe just a little to far.
